  1. aloha Bernadette – I’m curious about the dimensions and materials of your miniatures. I had a lot of fun a few years ago playing in Postal Art circles painting and working in a variety of ways with ATCs and ACEOs. those are always a standard size – 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

I’m not doing a lot of that now altho I am interested in postcard sizes which are not as fixed in dimensions – generally they are about 4 x 6 altho sometimes slightly smaller or larger was/is acceptable too.

even tho I’m not so active now in Mail Art I still paint on smaller scales most of the time when I paint (I still think I’ll work large scale again too but when, I do not know). so I can see why you might enjoy miniatures. fun. aloha.

    • Hello! ~ I like small scale beacuse it allows for simple scenes with elaborate design and lots of tiny details:) My favourite ones are business cards and giftbook sizes. (as of yet..maybe I will paint larger ones too later on.)
